Yantara Jiro answers our question: Is speaking Light Language similar to what the Christians call 'speaking in tongues'?
These are perspectives shared by Christians who have spoken in tongues and do not represent my personal experience. In general, when speaking in tongues, the speakers are not conscious or aware of what (content) is flowing through, though some can understand and interpret for others. In a light language workshop, people learn that there is a system to learn and speak it and it can also be explained on a biochemical level. Understanding what you are speaking, and where the information is coming from can be trained by fine-tuning the consciousness 'antenna' through specific practices. Another point that is commonly said is that while speaking in tongues, they often have no control or direction of where this is going. Whereas speaking in Light Language is within full conscious state of the speaker with the mind retaining the power to choose whether to participate more interactively with what is coming through. There can be situations where Light Language speakers go into a state where the conscious mind becomes directed completely inward, and withdrawn from the external or immediate surroundings. However the Light Language speakers will still be able to observe and be conscious of the content during the experience. In general, the experiences of people having spoken in tongues and spoken in Light Languages are at once similar and different. With light language, one can venture deeper into the practical and beneficial aspects for the purpose of uplifting the mind and well-being with training.
