Evolve Asia caught up with the zippy Zeo Sheehan, International Channeller and Akashic reader on his trip to Singapore recently. Here are some intimate nuggets of wisdom for our spiritual seekers to chew on.
On Akashic readings and what they are
They are records and databanks of all things that have happened
Everything that has happened has an imprint and record of the soul’s progress and energetic field changes
Readings extract information and allow you to tap into the field store of information
On his experience of Akashic readings
Some say that it is a library.. I have seen that.
My experience is that of sound and word.
I rely on hearing like someone whispering in my ear or head.
And like a storyteller, the story will eventually develop.
I’m not making it up. I am led.
My training started with developing other senses, now i get a visual.
I was trained to trust each psychic sense equally in the beginning.
Now i get a reference point then a data package
So it starts visually to help me to orientate myself then I am led into the situation
And the download is much quicker.
At the delivery stage, the speed of the download is a quick way of accessing knowing.
Zeo was not a born channeller, nor did he receive a bolt from the blue. He developed his skills gradually.
They came progressively like going to university.
I was interested already in my twenties and purchased books, crystals and attended classes until I got more serious and signed up for one year of training with a mystery school. That has helped me more than anything to transform my energy. I was trained first and foremost to access my akashic records through this class and it energetically upgraded me, like planting a satellite dish in my backyard. The lessons taught me to trust my inner senses.
Often our Ego wants clairvoyance, but I was trained to let go of my insistence on how it should be.
As such I learnt to trust my own hearing, like a step-by-step learning of psychic faculties. Once you I let go of my ego preference, I arrived where I am today.
On meditation as a route to accessing the akashic records
The experience varies.
I use meditation in my classes and some people may switch on like that if they had read their akashic records in their past lives. Others who have not may need more time to cultivate this ability.
Because it is a high realm of consciousness, if you have been meditating for ten years, it is easier for you to tap into it vs someone else who has not put in the time and discipline.
Your heart and higher chakras will always be activated in this exercise.
With visualisation (as a means of accessing your akashic records), you’re using imagination.
It’s all really ultimately: What is it I just thought up?
What is it that actually happened?
Because the Intention is there, even if you imagined it, you're having that experience. In the beginning it’s imagination, you will eventually transition into experience. You ask yourself, "Did I have an experience?"
Your intention is what counts.
At some point you drop into experiential meditation
Mind starts to fade out and unfold effortlessly
I still use imagination to lead myself into my centre to draw certain healing energies into my body. I think it is really useful. It’s like a bicycle .. once it runs.. you can stop peddling..
For our readers, how do you know when you know?
The simple answer is you know when you know (chuckles).
It’s connected to trust, connected to doubt and confronting the fears and doubts in your mind.
Am I being deceived? Can I trust my higher self? How do I know if this is clear or not?
Work with those fears consciously.
I already had an access to akashic records before I started channelling so I had a head start to find out where my fears developed from. If you don’t’ have that, you can observe.
My mind often fears the information will be incorrect, that my advice will make things worse for the person…
The key is to bring love to it at some point
Sometimes you don’t have to know where it comes from
All you sometimes need to use is use some technique to release fear and doubts, e.g. the ritual of forgiving it, loving it and saying sorry. If you do it, mind becomes less interference, you can relax and trust. I had a scientific education, am more sceptical, the reason I kept going was because of client feedback.
I believe that the client is there for a reason. Whatever that resonates they will take.
The worst thing you can do is go into judgement
We are all improving ourselves.
Karma is the lessons and growth the soul needs to embrace.
From the Akashic records we can extract the info on what is growth, current, future, what growth decided upon and what growth was un- mastered in the past.
All information is contained there.
Purpose can be found in akashic records, karmically speaking what they’re dealing with right now
Karma is a mixture of resolved and unresolved issues.
The Akashic records are a big video recorder that record everything including emotions without judgement-just the facts. I use the records to seek out a repeating loop that keeps coming back to challenge us and causing us not to transform, so we can move on.
Everyone has these loops in their life.
My session is a gift in acceleration.
We’re no longer distracted by an old story
On discerning a good akashic reading from a lesser one
A good akashic reading needs to create a resonance within yourself, relate to the dynamic not the experience itself. Go to where it began.
When you have an absolute resonance, you know that the information is hitting the spot. This is the difficulty with spiritual practitioners.. you don’t know until you tried. Name, fame, recommendations only go so far.. only when you have experience, that finally counts
For practitioners with setbacks
Sometimes clients get overwhelmed and need time to digest.
If a reading was good, most recognise something deep has shifted in their lives.
Ignore those focused on a narrow range of things on the surface, your business is to remove the old.
