Sonia Ong shares her experience of reconnective healing with Dawn Chen. Compared to reiki, Dawn describes reconnective healing as a healing method that activates not only universal energy but also frequencies at different levels. Clients can sometimes see healing frequencies or colors and/or messages as instructions to overcome their physical or mental disease. Clients are also visited and helped by their guides, angels and other beings like fairies.
Her hands touch me only to signal the beginning and end of the session.
The rest of the time she is positioned around and occasionally very far from me at the corners of the room.
Internally I feel the pooling and eddying reservoirs of energy circulating around my problem areas in the solar plexus and the back. Subsequently the energies travel up, down and around my spine rhythmically and urgently. It feels like a spring bath without the wetness. I emerge fresh, pulsing. The experience is more dynamic and less gentle than a reiki session and i don't find myself dozing off as much.
Post session we discuss our experiences of the healing.
She tells me that a being was present and was stitching up my back.
And after, angels assuring that everything will be ok. It's a lovely experience even as i am not clairvisual. After, i feel lightbodied the whole day, possibly energy detox, and in need of a restorative nap that I honour and highly recommend- a positive and enjoyable session.
